CHIROPRACTIC CARE

When you visit us at Eastridge Chiropractic Co., your first appointment will include a full body assessment. This includes a history and evaluation of any injuries and pain points, and discussion of future wellness goals. We then create a personalized treatment plan based on our evaluation and your goals, which may include chiropractic adjustments along with some of our other cutting edge therapies (such as spinal decompression, shockwave, dry needling, soft tissue techniques, etc.) based on your needs.

One thing that makes us different at Eastridge, is that we never prescribe long, arduous treatment plans. Each visit, we are re-evaluating your spine and neuromuscular system to ensure you are improving as expected. Although each person and complaint is different, you can expect to be feeling better between 6-12 visits.

When you come in for an adjustment at Eastridge, you will begin on a heated intersegmental traction table (or “roller table”) to give you a gentle massage and help “loosen you up” before your adjustment. You will then be welcomed into your doctor’s private treatment room for your appointment, where you can be comfortable to discuss any and all health concerns in privacy.

We utilize a variety of chiropractic techniques at Eastridge, hence the term “Diversified Technique”. Through their experience and training at well-respected Palmer College of Chiropractic West and Life University, Drs Mat, Shantai and Meghan have learned to apply the most effective techniques to treat specific areas of the spine and extremities. This most often looks like a quick, gentle force into a joint, helping to restore normal range of motion and reduce pain. Often, you will hear a popping noise, which is gas bubbles being released from the joint capsule. At Eastridge, we are proud to have brand new, state of the art flexion-distraction tables which are exceptionally comfortable and help to stretch your spine prior to you adjustment. The doctors may also utilize the drop devices on these tables, and occasionally use other light force techniques such as the Arthrostim and Activator (especially for our baby patients, and smaller joints of the jaw, wrist, ankles and feet).

Our doctors are trained to provide specialized treatment to a variety of populations including athletes and weekend warriors, people involved in car accidents, pregnant and postpartum women, and children. Dr. Mat is a soon to be Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. Dr. Shantai and Dr. Meghan are specially trained through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) to provide specialized care and attention to infants and children, and to perform the Webster Technique on expecting moms. This technique is used to balance the pelvis, thus allowing a more comfortable pregnancy, and reducing intrauterine constraint for the baby.
